Exclusive trailer shows you what to expect from phantom-pregnancy chiller “SOMETHING OF A MONSTER”

A woman is haunted by more than loss in the wilds of New York.

Persimmon will make SOMETHING OF A MONSTER available to stream and rent on December 4. Directed by Brandon Duncan and scripted by Hyten Davidson and Christian Missonak, it stars Ashley Bacon, Joy Sudduth, Greg Brostrom and Davidson. The synopsis: “In 1980s North Carolina, Amelia’s life unravels when a phantom pregnancy leads her in-laws to send her away to a Catskills inn. Haunted by a figure in the woods, she fights to prove her sanity and uncovers the dark truth behind a lost woman and a small-town conspiracy that may claim her next.”
