A year ago, Dutch genre veteran Dick Maas gave us the first word about AMSTERDAMNED II, the sequel to his 1988 hit. Now we’ve got the first look at the trailer with English subtitles, arriving to tease the movie’s Dutch release a year from now (December 11, 2025 to be exact) and promising plenty of water-borne thrills and chills. The film, which Maas wrote and directed, tells of a new series of murders in and around the canals of Amsterdam, with original star Huub Stapel returning in the role of detective Eric Visser. The cast additionally includes Holly Mae Brood, Lesley Grant, Tatum Dagelet (also back from the first film, as Visser’s daughter Anneke) and Bas Keijzer.
