It’s a big day for H.P. Lovecraft movie news, as a new indie shocker based on his writings is about to be unleashed, and we’ve got the first look at promo material.
Chad Ferrin’s THE OLD ONES, which the filmmaker first told us about (with exclusive photos) here, will have its world premiere October 6 at the Santiago Horror Film Festival in Chile. Robert Miano, Benjamin Philip, Kelli Maroney, Timothy Muskatell, Jerry Irons, Cyril O’Reilly, Brandon Kirk, Jon Budinoff, Kurt Bonzell, Elli Rahn, Silvia Spross, star, with makeup effects created by Joe Castro. The synopsis: “In 1930, sea captain Russel Marsh saw the light, and for 93 years his body was not his own. Inhabited by a Great Old One, he committed unspeakable acts in the name of the Esoteric Order of Dagon. Now free, he is in search of a way to go back in time to reverse the horrors wrought upon the world. But the cult has other plans, and will stop at nothing to destroy him.”
