Morbid Entertainment gave us an early look at THE LAST FOOTPRINT, which we first told you about here and is shooting in South Carolina. A Bigfoot saga done as found footage, it’s written and directed by T.J. Robinson (2022’s THE WENDIGO), with Daniel John Kearney, Lucas Dunaway, Brandon O’Hanley, T.J. Campbell, Hunter Redfern (who’s executive-producing the film with Robinson), Christiaan Voldstad, Mario Evans and Tyler Gene heading the cast. The synopsis: “A small documentary crew sets out to investigate the infamous York Howls in York, SC. When they join a search party deep in the woods, they soon realize the truth is out there–and it’s hunting them.”
“With THE LAST FOOTPRINT, we set out to do what few horror films have achieved: make Bigfoot terrifying again,” the filmmakers tell us. “Stripping away the pop-culture interpretations and bringing the legend back to its primal, nightmarish roots, this film will embrace raw, atmospheric horror, relentless tension, and the terrifying power of the unknown. THE LAST FOOTPRINT will leave audiences questioning what lurks just beyond the treeline.”
