The film is starting its festival tour with a prestigious booking.

Director Alex Kahuam provided the exclusive still above and behind-the-scenes pics below from THE REMEDY, which will be premiering as part of the Fantastic Pavilion genre lineup at this year’s Cannes Film Festival. Kahuam is pictured below with stars Timothy Granaderos and genre fave Doug Jones, and the movie also features London Thor, Chris Mulkey and Jenny O’Hara. Daniel Kuhlman scripted; the synopsis: “A troubled young man is the caregiver for his terminally ill mother. When he makes a desperate attempt to save his mom, he unleashes a supernatural entity that feeds on human flesh.”

“I promise horror fans that this will be a psychologically tense, supernaturally creepy, jump-scares-packed, bloody big-screen experience they will never forget,” Kahuam tells RUE MORGUE. Stay tuned for updates as THE REMEDY makes its way through the fest circuit.
