Hannah Fierman (V/H/S, SIREN, BYSTANDERS) stars in this new throwback to ’80s masked-killer flicks.

Babe Entertainment, Cannon Fire Productions and Millman Productions are currently shooting FINAL ACT on locations in Scranton, PA, including the historic Ritz Theater and the Electric City Trolley Museum. Michael Su (BLOODTHIRST) is directing and serving as cinematographer, from a script by Avaryana Rose, Tristan Green and Brandon Slagle (THE BLACK MASS, THE BLACK DAHLIA HAUNTING). Rose and Green are also among the cast, along with Douglas Tait (TEEN WOLF), Cal Tolentino, Sionne Elise, Rosie Dean, Julian Ford, Vincent M. Ward, Ashlyn Johnson and Ben Stobber, with a cameo by Scranton’s own “Chef Von” (Ryan Von Smith) from Gordon Ramsay’s NEXT LEVEL CHEF. Rob Adkirson, Robert Savakinus (HELL HOUSE LLC: LINEAGE) and Jeff Miller (12 TO MIDNIGHT, DEATH KISS) are producing; makeup effects creator Jackie Hughes, costume designer Jolene Marie Richardson and Jared Sokirka, who’s handling stunts, weapons and other props, are all veterans of the TERRIFIER franchise.

The synopsis: “A new owner buys an infamous, creepy old haunted theater to resurrect brand new life into it, when suddenly strange things start happening. Paranormal investigators are contacted and brought in to try to find out what secrets lurk beneath…when all hell breaks loose.” The characters soon find themselves stalked by a mysterious, masked, pickax-wielding killer; pictured in the second photo below are (left to right) Tolentino as Fox, Rose as Vera, the niece of Fierman’s character, and Ford as Vera’s brother Jack. “We are filming in a great old historic theater in Pennsylvania with a superb cast,” Adkirson says, “and making a creepy horror whodunit that we think audiences will really dig.”
