You can help the filmmakers conclude the Halloween horror trilogy.
Nevermore Production Films has been joined by Blood Moon Pictures on the production of THE BARN PART III, to be directed once again by Justin M. Seaman from a script he wrote with Zane Hershberger, the latter also serving as cinematographer. Eric Huskisson and P.J. Starks are producing, with Simon Lustenberger and Gareth “Slasher Trash” Morgan as executive producers, and they’ve lined up a cast that includes Courtney Gains (CHILDREN OF THE CORN), Kelli Maroney (NIGHT OF THE COMET), Kansas Bowling (CHRISTMAS BLOODY CHRISTMAS), Ellie Church, Tristan Olsen, Amanda Byrne, Jake McClellan and Mitchell Musolino. The synopsis: “Years after the events of THE BARN PART II, the group is still left in fear that the evil three might come back to finish the harvest once and for all.”
“Over the course of the last two films,” Seaman tells RUE MORGUE, “we’ve established a lore and origin story that fans have expressed they’ve really enjoyed. This final chapter ties all those pieces together and brings everything back together, while adding more depth to the Halloween lore of the ‘Barn Baddies.’ ”
Those include The Boogeyman, Hallowed Jack and The Candycorn Scarecrow, and PART III’s creatures and gore will be created by indie effects stalwart Cody Ruch. “We are keeping most of the story under wraps for now,” Seaman continues, “but what I can say is: The first film was set in the ’80s, the second was in the ’90s and this final one takes place in a new decade.”
When it comes to his ambitions for the movie, he says, “Get it funded and make it the best entry! Seriously, though, I’m excited to get back on set with cast and crewmembers who have been on the journey for over a decade, since we thought no one would ever know the first film existed. Having the opportunity to create PART III is great, and the plan is to have a blast doing it, and hopefully the audience will see that on the screen.”
The team has launched an Indiegogo campaign where you can learn more about the project and donate for perks ranging from autographed merch to screen-used props to on-screen roles. You can check it out here, and watch the campaign video below.
