One girl’s obsession leads to her idol’s ordeal.
SWEETNESS debuts on VOD and digital platforms tomorrow, February 13 from Saban Films. Emma Higgins wrote and directed, and Kate Hallett, Herman Tømmeraas, Aya Furukawa, Justin Chatwin, Steven Ogg and Amanda Brugel star. The synopsis: “When a superfan [Hallett] learns that her rock star idol [Tømmeraas] is spiraling into addiction, she makes it her mission to save him, whether he wants her help or not. But when her desperate plan spirals out of control, she kidnaps him in a delusional attempt to ‘fix’ him.
