By WILLIAM J. WRIGHT

Loosely based on the crimes of infamous Swedish serial killer Thomas Quick (aka Sture Bergwall), who confessed to more than 30 murders over three decades, WHAT REMAINS is the feature film debut of artist-turned-director Ran Huang. A chilling glimpse into madness, the film stars Gustaf Skarsgård (Vikings) as confessed killer Mads Lake who, in this disturbing clip shared exclusively with RUE MORGUE, calmly recounts the details of one of his cruelest crimes to therapist Anna Rudebeck (Andrea Riseborough).

WHAT REMAINS, starring Gustaf Skarsgård, Andrea Riseborough and Stellan Skarsgård premieres today in theatres and on VOD from VMI Worldwide.
