The Drag-Fu-action-comedy-horror-musical you’ve been waiting for is finally here, and you can thank RUE MORGUE and the historic Fox Theatre for making your dreams come true. Director Lee Demarbre‘s (Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter, Smash Cut), ENTER THE DRAG DRAGON is coming to the beloved Toronto movie house for two exclusive screenings in March.

Out and proud as the world’s “first-ever DragXploitation action film,” ENTER THE DRAG DRAGON stars Matt Miwa, Sam Kellerman and Jade London as Crunch (Yes. Three actors, one role), a part-time amateur detective and full-time drag queen who’s lived in an abandoned movie theatre since childhood with his best friend, rollerskating delivery girl Jaws (Beatrice Beres). No strangers to action and intrigue, they spend their nights watching chopsocky kung-fu movies with their childhood guardian, Fast Buck (Phil Caracas). Joining forces as the Crazy Dragon Detective Agency, they take on the case of a lifetime. Along the way, they face zombies, androids, mummies, and a cadre of characters that must be seen to be believed. Trust us, no synopsis will ever do this movie justice. Be on the lookout for guest appearances from TROMA’s Lloyd Kaufman, Greg Sesteros (The Room) and more drag performers than you can shale a basket of d*cks at.

ENTER THE DRAG DRAGON will screen at the Fox Theatre on Saturday, March 4, at 9:30 p.m. and Thursday, March 9, at 9:15 p.m. Director Lee Demarbre and star Sam Kellerman will be there for the March 4 screening, so don’t miss it. And remember, never cross a cross-dresser!
