“DRIVE ANGRY” creators have a new “TRICK” in store with Tom Atkins et al.

Director Patrick Lussier and screenwriter Todd Farmer, who previously teamed on the Nicolas Cage fave DRIVE ANGRY (pictured) and the 3D MY BLOODY VALENTINE remake, have gotten rolling on their new horror-thriller TRICK, and the cast has been revealed, including a genre legend.

TRICK, which is shooting in New York, reunites the duo with ANGRY co-star and horror veteran Tom Atkins, part of a cast that also includes Omar Epps (from Lussier’s DRACULA 2000), Ellen Adair, Kristina Reyes and SCREAM’s Jamie Kennedy. According to the official synopsis, “The story centers on an elusive serial killer, who descends upon a small-town annually. He is responsible for gruesome murders year after year, each seemingly unrelated. No one believes this could be the same killer. Detective Mike Denver [Epps] has faced Trick once before, having shot and killed him. Or so everyone keeps telling him. However, Denver knows Trick is still out there, and he’s coming back for revenge.” Adair plays Lisa Jayne, sheriff of the town of Benton; Reyes is Cheryl Winston, the only survivor of Trick’s previous rampage; Atkins is a character named Talbott and Kennedy portrays Dr. Steven. Look for more TRICK coverage as it gets closer to release!
