Movie Review: Isle love Sam Raimi’s return to R-rated, black-comic mayhem with “SEND HELP”
Raimi laces this tense emotional rollercoaster with plenty of his trademark aggressive style, taking every opportunity to play things to the nasty/icky hilt.

Ryan Prows' cops-and-bloodsuckers thriller is a visually stunning and timely comment on institutional violence, derailed by a meandering plot.
Unfortunately, while some of the atmosphere carries over from the original, dramatic interest, and the fear factor, are largely lacking.
It doesn’t come up with enough inventive developments once the situation is established, and the CGI used to create the environment isn’t quite convincing, which is a distraction throughout.
These filmmakers respect what was established with the prior entry, yet vary the new movie’s pacing and tone so as to disturb and intrigue.
