Opening this weekend for IFC Midnight, OUR HOUSE is about a trio of siblings who discover they’re sharing their home with unquiet spirits. As a tie-in to the movie, you can now take a SpectreTest to see if you’re in paranormal danger.

Directed by Anthony Scott Burns, OUR HOUSE arrives in select theaters and hits VOD and digital platforms this Friday, July 27. You can take the SpectreTest by clicking here. Nathan Parker (MOON) scripted OUR HOUSE, a remake of Matt Osterman’s GHOST FROM THE MACHINE (a.k.a. PHASMA EX MACHINA), with a cast headed by Thomas Mann, Percy Hynes White, Kate Moyer and Nicola Peltz. The synopsis: “A machine that can bring back dead loved ones seems like a great idea…until you unleash the wrong spirits. When his parents are killed in a car accident, science wiz Ethan [Mann] must leave behind college and his girlfriend [Peltz] to care for his younger brother and sister [White and Moyer]. By day, he juggles the responsibilities of raising two kids; by night, he tinkers in the garage on an invention he hopes will change the world: a machine that can generate wireless electricity. He gets more than he bargained for, however, when the device awakens the dead souls that haunt the house. As Ethan and his siblings attempt to make contact with their parents, a horrifying realization sets in: not all the spirits in their midst may be friendly.” Check out the trailer below.
