Long-lost Angus Scrimm audio series “DANGER THEATER” now airing on-line

The late Tall Man actor’s indelible voice can now be heard again telling suspenseful tales.

DANGER THEATER, an audio series that hasn’t been heard since the turn of the century, is back and now being re-aired as part of the weekly STABBY ROAD podcast. It consists of 17 frightening and dramatic tales structured around the Ten Commandments and the Seven Deadly Sins, narrated by Scrimm and written by up-and-coming talents who have gone on to such successful series as STAR TREK: DEEP SPACE NINE, THE VAMPIRE DIARIES, FARSCAPE, CASTLE, THE FLASH, MOONLIGHT and others. A new episode of DANGER THEATER will drop today and every Thursday for the next 14 weeks; it’s available on all platforms, and can be found here

The “re-premieres” of DANGER THEATER include interviews with Joe Sena, who first worked on the series during his time at Universal Studios, and others involved with the show. Sena currently co-hosts STABBY ROAD with award-winning adult-film star Sonia Harcourt and filmmakers Rob and Josh Graydon, and says, “We created cutting-edge audio, video and written content for horror fans before terms like ‘blog’ or ‘streaming media’ even existed. We pushed boundaries, but unfortunately, the world wasn’t ready for them. With zero marketing and a dial-up world, it was like making 3-D VR ‘Smell-O-Vision’ during the age of old-time radio.”
