October 2022 Short Horror Releases on ALTER

If you’re into short horror, the folks at ALTER have you covered.  Rue Morgue wants to make sure you’re up-to-date on all of the cool stuff they have coming up, so each month we’ll be highlighting their upcoming releases.  Take a look at what they have planned for October 2022:

The Loop (October 6)
Director: Rich Ragsdale
Mikey’s older brother, Tommy, brings home a mysterious bootleg VHS tape of “the scariest movie ever made”. But what they expect to be a run-of-the-mill 80s slasher flick turns out to be something much more terrifying.

The Night Courier (October 11)
Director: Tabitha McDonald, Mason McDonald
A single night offers a suffocating glimpse into the life of a woman whose occupation is feeding people to monsters. When one of her victims escapes, the story escalates into a hellish cat and mouse chase.

It’s Not Custard (October 13)
Director: Kate McCoid
Louise, granted a life changing wish has to face a peculiar consequence.

They See You (October 18)
Director: Jared Januschka
A woman who lost her parents in a car crash receives a frantic phone call from her reclusive and mentally ill sister.

Poor Glenna (October 20)
Director: Jean-Paul DiSciscio
When her mutant son develops a taste for human flesh, a timid mother must find a victim to satisfy his ravenous appetite.

Loose Ends (October 25)
Director: Shrader Thomas
While giving a tour of a murder house, a young woman must face more than just the morbid history of the house, but her own shattered past.

Visitors (October 27)
Director: Kenichi Ugana
Haruka, Nana, and Takanori visit the house of Souta, a band member who has lost contact with them. But Souta’s behavior is a little strange.
