After winning raves at the just-concluded Sundance Film Festival, first-time writer/director Ari Aster’s fright film HEREDITARY now has a date for theatrical release, and a poster and trailer have been unveiled.
A24 has announced that it will release HEREDITARY in theaters across the U.S. June 8. Toni Collette, Gabriel Byrne, Ann Dowd, Milly Shapiro and Alex Wolff star in the movie; the synopsis: “When Ellen, the matriarch of the Graham family, passes away, her daughter’s family begins to unravel cryptic and increasingly terrifying secrets about their ancestry.
