The director of THE HOUSE OF THE DEVIL and THE INNKEEPERS is now bringing us his own Texas massacre.
A24 has announced a March 18 theatrical release date for X, written and directed by Ti West–his first feature since the 2016 Western IN A VALLEY OF VIOLENCE (he’s been busy on TV series including THE EXORCIST and THEM since). Mia Goth (A CURE FOR WELLNESS), Jenna Ortega (SCREAM), Martin Henderson, Brittany Snow, Owen Campbell (SUPER DARK TIMES), Stephen Ure and Scott Mescudi (a.k.a. Kid Cudi) star; the synopsis: “In 1979, a group of young filmmakers set out to make an adult film in rural Texas, but when their reclusive, elderly hosts catch them in the act, the cast find themselves fighting for their lives.”
