Gigi Saul Guerrero et al. showcased in anthology “THE SOURCE OF SHADOWS”; release info, trailer and poster

A dozen directors contributed to the omnibus horror feature THE SOURCE OF SHADOWS, which has just been picked up and dated for U.S. distribution. Read on for the details, trailer and poster.

Freestyle Digital Media has announced that it has acquired THE SOURCE OF SHADOWS, which will be available to rent and own on digital HD via Internet, cable and satellite platforms April 28. The lineup of filmmakers is Jennifer Bonior, James Bowsher, Ryan Bury, Zev Chavet, Sean Cruser, Adam O’Brien, John Rhee, Daniel Robinette, John Rushing, Gigi Saul Guerrero, Nicole Scherer and Dycee Wildman. The synopsis: “THE SOURCE OF SHADOWS is a suspenseful anthology film which depicts 10 tales of horror from 12 visionary directors as they take viewers on a journey to experience one of humanity’s most carnal fears—the fear of the unknown. This series of short vignettes weaves together dire tales of the creatures we can’t always see, the shadows hiding around the corner, the mysterious sounds in the darkness and much more. THE SOURCE OF SHADOWS offers up a chance for viewers to ask themselves: ‘What are we afraid of?’ ”
