Feel the “CLOWN FEAR” next year! Trailer and art

Looks like Pennywise’s latest screen vehicle wasn’t the last word in evil screen clowns.

Lionsgate has announced the February 18 DVD, VOD and digital release of CLOWN FEAR. Originally titled CIRCUS ROAD, it was directed by Minh Collins from a script he wrote with Sadie Katz, who also co-stars alongside Gianni Capaldi, Randy Wayne, Darcy DeMoss (FRIDAY THE 13TH PART VI), Augie Duke, Tiffani Fest, Courtney Akbar, Marv Blauvet, Sarah French, Ashley Mei, Nikki Kris and Isaac C. Singleton Jr. Gerry Lively, who shot such ’90s favorites as the WAXWORK duo, HELLRAISER III: HELL ON EARTH, RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD III and NECRONOMICON, was the cinematographer. The synopsis: “In this creepy, chilling horror tale, a runaway bride and her friends are stranded in a forgotten desert town full of sadistic, bloodthirsty clowns who don’t trust outsiders.” The DVD will present the movie in 16×9-enhanced 2.39:1 widescreen with Dolby Digital 5.1 audio and no special features announced, with a retail price of $19.98.
