Watch the bloody funny trailer for the “TAMMY AND THE T-REX” “Gore Cut,” premiering at Cinepocalypse!

Previously released in the U.S. only in an edited VHS edition, the jaw-dropping TAMMY AND THE T-REX sees the 35mm premiere of its complete “Gore Cut” next month. Jump past the jump to see a trailer for this version.

The uncensored TAMMY AND THE T-REX will be shown Monday, June 17 as part of the Cinepocalypse festival at Chicago’s Music Box Theater; go here to see more details of the fest. Directed by Stewart Raffill (MAC AND ME) from a script he wrote with Gary Brockette, TAMMY is a guilty pleasure on all kinds of levels, from the plot (murdered teenager Michael’s brain is placed by a mad scientist into the head of a Tyrannosaurus, and he continues to try to romance his high-school sweetheart Tammy) to the casting (pre-stardom Paul Walker and Denise Richards as Michael and Tammy, WEEKEND AT BERNIE’S/FRIDAY THE 13TH PART VII’s Terry Kiser as the evil doc, plus lots of familiar/cult faces in smaller roles). Now it will have an extra layer of over-the-top appeal, as plenty of splatter (executed by the late John Carl Buechler, who also created the T. rex) has been reinstated. Following this big-screening of TAMMY, a 4K restoration derived from the original camera negative will receive more theatrical dates and Blu-ray release later this year.
