The Canadian event returns in July to showcase worldwide genre cinema.

The people behind Montreal’s Fantasia International Film Festival have revealed the poster for their 2026 edition, celebrating the fest’s 30th anniversary. Created by local artist and Fantasia veteran Donald Caron, it’s inspired by the Weird Sisters from Shakespeare’s MACBETH, Greece’s classical Three Fates and Gustav Klimt’s 1905 painting THE THREE AGES OF WOMEN. It depicts three generations of sorceresses, one for each of Fantasia’s three decades, conjuring the festival’s iconic Cheval Noir.

Fantasia 2026 takes place July 16-August 2, and includes the Frontières International Co-Production Market, which runs July 22-25. The first round of titles will be announced in May, and you’ll be able to read about them and other updates here. The fest’s official website can be found here
