The stars of the modern classic WHEN EVIL LURKS reunite in the film coming this summer.

Cleopatra Entertainment gave us the word that it will release the Argentinean horror film PORTRAITS OF THE APOCALYPSE on North American VOD and DVD July 14. Written and directed by Nicanor Loreti, Fabián Forte, and Luca Castello, it reunites WHEN EVIL LURKS’ lead actors Demián Salomón and Ezequiel Rodríguez and also stars Lorena Vega, Ezequiel Rodríguez, Paula Manzone, Rodrigo Raffeto, Natalia Santiago, Paula Rubinstein and Melisa Fernández. The synopsis: “When a mysterious infection spreads through Buenos Aires, the city collapses into chaos. Told through four different points of view—a journalist, a soldier, a mother, and a stranger—we witness each fighting to survive as the dead reclaim the streets. From the first outbreak to the desperate final stand, the film paints a raw and emotional portrait of humanity pushed to its breaking point.”
