Texas-based publisher Ghoulish Books, whose catalog of horror titles has been stoking the fever dream fires of readers whose literary tastes skew more transgressive than trendy, announces their latest release with a cover reveal exclusive to RUE MORGUE.

MOTHER-EATING, author Jess Hagemann’s follow-up to 2018’s amputation opus Headcheese (Encyclopocalypse Publications) re-envisions 18th-century monarch Marie Antoinette and her royal court as a sex cult in modern-day Austin, Texas. Does the guillotine lie in wait? Readers can find out when the book releases on October 28th.
