The movie is now streaming and has a theatrical booking next month.
Filmmaker Matthew Rosvally sent along some exclusive stills from THE MIRANDA MURDERS: LOST TAPES OF LEONARD LAKE AND CHARLES NG, which has been acquired by Troma and is available for streaming at Troma NOW. The movie will also screen on May 17 at the Gateway Film Center in Columbus, Ohio, on May 17th as part of the nationwide “Hands Across Tromerica” tour. Directed by Rosvally from a script he wrote with producer/Shockfest Film Festival founder G.R. Claveria, it also stars the two as real-life serial killers Leonard Lake and Charles Ng, along with Jenna Keefner, Kelci C. Magel, Alan Bernhoft and Skye Madsen.
According to the PR, “The film offers an unflinching reenactment of the duo’s heinous crimes, utilizing a found-footage style based on the actual footage captured by the real life Lake and Ng, which has been inaccessible to the public for over 30 years. The filmmakers aimed to educate and submerge the audience into the struggle the real-life victims experienced, prioritizing drawn-out tension and old school cinematic-style suspense while actively avoiding glorification of the real-life crimes.”
Sorry, but FUCK this movie.
