The Canadian chiller is set for release in its home country this month.
Vortex Media will release ANACORETA on VOD platforms across Canada February 21. Directed by Vancouver-based filmmaker Jeremy Schuetze from a script he wrote with Matt Visser, it stars the duo along with Antonia Thomas and Jesse Stanley. According to the official synopsis, the movie “follows a group of friends who travel for a weekend away to an isolated cabin in the woods to shoot an experimental horror movie. Slowly the film begins to unravel, and we see the true monster appear from the shadows.”
