The paranormal chiller is currently shooting in the UK.

VIRAL HAUNT is being directed and produced by TAW Entertainment’s Natasha Tosini and Stephen Staley from their screenplay; both have appeared in numerous indie fright flicks like DARKER SHADES OF SUMMER, SNAKE HOTEL and WINNIE-THE-POOH: BLOOD AND HONEY 2. The two also co-star in VIRAL HAUNT alongside Kelly Rian Sanson, Danielle Scott, Jack Hoy, Elliott Eason, Jack Hyde and Will Wickham. According to the official synopsis, “The plot explores a group of famous social media stars known for their paranormal ‘ghost hunting’ vlogs as they set out on a mission to end the rumors that they’re faking their haunts, and film their most ambitious video yet. This is where the influencers face the horror…for real.”

“VIRAL HAUNT is a psychological horror with inspiration taken from THE UNINVITED and THE INNOCENTS,” Tosini says, “playing on the mind of the viewer and delving deep into the characters’ minds as they are haunted like never before.” Staley adds that the movie is “a convincing horror that mixes modern-day influencers in classic scary-movie scenarios, and seeing how they deal with this. I hope audiences will enjoy it for that. It’s a fun ride with compelling performances.” VIRAL HAUNT will be distributed worldwide by ITN Distribution.
