20 more fright features join Fantaspoa festival lineup

Joining the titles previously announced here, a whole bunch more international horror/fantasy/thriller films have been added to the slate at the Fantaspoa festival, along with a slew of filmmakers.

Fantaspoa, Latin America’s largest genre fest, takes place in the Brazilian lakeside city of Porto Alegre May 17-June 3. The latest movies revealed are:

  • BERLIN FALLING (Ken Duken, Germany)—Brazilian Premiere
  • BRAVESTORM (Jun’ya Okabe, Japan)—Latin American Premiere
  • ERREMENTARI (Paul Urkijo Alijo, Spain/France)—Latin American Premiere
  • FAMILY (Veronica Kedar, Israel, Germany)—Latin American Premiere
  • FIESTA NIBIRU (Manuel Facal, Uruguay)—Latin American Premiere
  • FRIENDLY BEAST (Gabriela Amaral Almeida, Brazil)—Regional Premiere
  • FRAMED (Marc Martínez Jordán, Spain)—Latin American Premiere
  • EL HABITANTE (Guillermo Amoedo, Mexico/Chile)—Brazilian Premiere
  • KNUCKLEBALL (Michael Peterson, Canada)—Latin American Premiere
  • LUCIFERINA (Gonzalo Calzada, Argentine)—Brazilian Premiere

  • VAMPYRVIDAR (a.k.a. VIDAR THE VAMPIRE, pictured; Thomas Aske Berg, Norway)—Latin American Premiere

Aguilar, Alijo, Almeida, Amoedo, Berg, Lazar Bodroza, Calzada, Casas, Facal, Galli, Aryeh Hasfari, Kolmerer, Jordán, David Masterson, Peterson, Pintó, Rojas, Singer and Stoya will be among the talent on hand.
