The survival-horror sequel is seeing general release after a wide-ranging festival tour.
Cleopatra Entertainment has announced that it will release WHAT THE WATERS LEFT BEHIND: SCARS, which played Sitges and the Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival among others, on VOD, Blu-ray and DVD July 18. Director Nicolas Onetti’s sequel to his 2017 WHAT THE WATERS LEFT BEHIND was scripted by Camilio Zaffora and stars Agustin Olcese, Clara Kovacic, Magui Bravi, Maria Eugenia Rignon, Matias Desiderio, Germán Baudino, Chucho Fernández, Mario Alarcón and David Michigan. According to the official synopsis, the movie “tells the story of an Anglo-American indie rock band that ends up stranded in the desolate city of Epecuén. Their internal conflicts and the bad luck of their tour quickly fade, when they begin to discover the bloody hell that awaits them.”
