Words can kill in Guy Pearce-starrer “THE INFERNAL MACHINE”; trailer & poster

The new psychothriller is based on Louis Kornfeld’s “The Hilly Earth Society” from The Truth Podcast.

Paramount Pictures releases THE INFERNAL MACHINE to select theaters and digital platforms September 23. Written and directed by award-winning short filmmaker Andrew Hunt, it stars Guy Pearce, Alice Eve, Alex Pettyfer and Jeremy Davies. The synopsis: “Bruce Cogburn [Pearce], the reclusive and controversial author of the famed book THE INFERNAL MACHINE, is drawn out of hiding when he begins to receive endless letters from an obsessive fan. What ensues is a dangerous labyrinth as Bruce searches for the person behind the cryptic messages…forcing him to confront his past and ultimately revealing the truth behind THE INFERNAL MACHINE.”
