The long-running genre short film festival LITTLE TERRORS (presented by Rue Morgue Magazine and Unstable Ground) is returning for a brand new season of programming in November. But first, we have a special presentation at the upcoming FRIGHTMARE IN THE FALLS convention in Niagara Falls, Ontario. Featuring a great program of highlights from last season, and a special sneak preview from our upcoming season premiere, it’s 90 minutes of gory, scary fun! Perfect Halloween viewing!

Saturday, October 27th, 4pm, Frightmare In The Falls, Room 203 at the Scotiabank Convention Centre, Niagara Falls. See the Full Panel schedule HERE

Here’s our great line-up:

The Haunted Swordsman (16 minutes) directed by Kevin McTurk

A samurai (Jason Scott Lee) sets off on a quest to avenge the death of his master, aided by an odd companion – a sentient severed head (James Hong). Told via extremely life-like puppets, this new short by LT-alumnus McTurk (The Mill At Calder’s End) must be seen to be believed. Also featuring the voice talents of Franke Potente and Christopher Lloyd! A special sneak preview of the upcoming season of Little Terrors!

Budfoot (17 minutes) directed by Tim Reis, James Sizemore

Get ready for some surreal puppet-driven insanity! The creative team behind Demon’s Rook and Goat Witch are back with this gory, trippy, and altogether fun short film.

The Bloody Ballad of Squirt Reynolds (8 minutes) directed by Anthony Cousins

LT-alumnus director Cousins (When Susurrus Stirs) tells the tragic tale of Squirt Reynolds. But he won’t stay just a legend for long. Previous selection of a ton of festivals.

Catcalls (9 minutes) directed by Kate Dolan

A flasher gets more than he bargained for. Previous selection of Fantastic Fest.

Tick (12 minutes) directed by Ashlea Wessel

In a post-pandemic society, a vampire in hiding is forced to make a stand. From LT-alumnus director Wessel (Ink). Previous selection of Toronto After Dark and much more.

Tater (8 minutes) directed by Spencer Lenzie

A boy must stop a carnivorous space potato before it kills his entire family. Gory, goofy fun!

Post Mortem Mary (10 minutes) directed by Joshua Long

Mary and her mother run a post-mortem photography business. One day, a ‘client’ makes Mary confront her phobia while she does everything she can to make the dead look alive. Award-winning previous selection of Sitges, Molins de Rei, and much more. From LT-alumnus Long (Axed).

Monstagram (3 minutes) direceted by Jerome Sable

LT-alumnus Sable returns (The Legend of Beaver Dam)! Short, full of gore, and bizarre as Hell. Enjoy!

“Toe” (7 minutes) directed by Neil O’Bryan, Chad Thurman

A starving boy eats a toe he finds sticking out of the ground. Later that night, something ghastly comes to this bedroom wanting its toe back. Extremely unsettling stop-motion animation.
