Heavy metal horror, bloodsucking bats and more are coming from the screen to the page.

Echo On Publications, which specializes in adaptations of cult horror favorites, has a bunch of new novelizations in its lineup. Among them are a pair of rock-and-roll horror titles written by David Irons (DON’T GO TO WHEELCHAIR CAMP, THE BLOODY TRACKS OF BIGFOOT): TRICK OR TREAT (pictured above) and BLACK ROSES, coming on dates to be announced. Also in the lineup is FROM DUSK TILL DAWN (out June 30) by Echo On topper Christian Francis and Robert Kurtzman, who wrote the original story on which Quentin Tarantino’s screenplay was based. Echo On’s website promises “a more brutal and more expansive story. It features previously unfilmed scenes and characters, along with an all-new ending that will surprise even longtime fans.”

Speaking of bloodsuckers, Echo On also has BATS and DRACULA: MILLENNIUM, both by Francis, on the way July 30 and a date in 2026 to be announced, respectively. And a novelization of DON’T GO IN THE WOODS, by B-horror adaptation specialist Brian G. Berry, is on the way later this year as well. To keep track of all these and Echo On’s other books, head over to its official website.
