The masked and costumed killer racks up quite a (practical-effects) body count.
THE SLASHER NURSE is coming from writer/director David Kerr and Slasher 15 Productions, with a cast including Regina Groth, Amber Fulcher, Brendan Lynch, Chanda Rawlings, Diana Prince (THE LAST DRIVE-IN), Brian Bremer (SILENT NIGHT, DEADLY NIGHT 5; THE TOY MAKER), Felissa Rose (SLEEPAWAY CAMP, TERRIFIER 2), Beverly Randolph (RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD) and Jim Krut (DAWN OF THE DEAD). The synopsis: “After a prank by a group of teens goes wrong leaving one person dead, a young girl named Piper is locked away in a psychiatric hospital. Twenty years later, the group of teens have grown up and moved on with their lives, and all but one of them have put the traumatic experience behind them. The friends gather for a weekend getaway at a cabin in the woods, unaware that Piper has escaped from the hospital and is hellbent on revenge. While two detectives try to track Piper down and stop the bloodshed, the clock is ticking as the group of friends are picked off one by one in gruesome fashion.”
