The controversial director’s latest provocation is coming next month.
Neon will release HER PRIVATE HELL exclusively to theaters July 24. Nicolas Winding Refn directed from a script he wrote with Esti Giordani, and the cast is headed by COMPANION’s Sophie Thatcher (pictured), Charles Melton, Havana Rose Liu, Kristine Froseth, Shioli Kutsuna, Aoi Yamada, Dougray Scott, Diego Calva and Hidetoshi Nishijima. The synopsis: “When a mysterious mist engulfs a futuristic metropolis, unleashing a deadly and elusive entity, a troubled young woman [Thatcher] searches for her father. Her quest collides with an American GI [Melton] on a harrowing odyssey to rescue his daughter from Hell.”
