The fest-award-winner features a couple of actors with found-footage experience.

OLD WOUNDS marks the feature debut of director Steven Hugh Nelson and the Horror Hippies team. Chelsey Grant (V/H/S/85), Brian Villalobos (MAN FINDS TAPE) and Nelson star, and the trio scripted as well, with Nelson producing alongside Anthony Cousins (FROGMAN) and Erica Nelson. The synopsis: “An aspiring filmmaker documents a road trip with his girlfriend to meet her family, only to discover he’s not the only one filming them.” The team behind the movie, which won Best Debut Feature at the Popcorn Frights Film Festival and also played Panic Fest, the Chattanooga Film Festival and others, aim to get OLD WOUNDS into limited theatrical release ahead of a VOD debut early next year.
