In the prequel coming this summer, the city that never sleeps has to keep silent.

Paramount Pictures has dropped the trailer and teaser poster for A QUIET PLACE: DAY ONE, the third in the film series about sound-sensitive monsters overrunning Earth. Arriving in theaters June 28, it was written and directed by Michael Sarnoski, based on a story by Sarnoski and previous QUIET PLACE director John Krasinski. The cast is headed by Lupita Nyong’o, Joseph Quinn, Alex Wolff (HEREDITARY) and Djimon Hounsou, the latter’s presence making this more of a prequel to A QUIET PLACE: PART II; he plays one of a group of people struggling to survive when New York City gets attacked by the rapacious creatures.
