Trailer and poster emerge “FROM BLACK” for Shudder chiller

The streamer-premiering fright feature also has a new date.

FROM BLACK will now premiere on Shudder as well as AMC+ April 28. Directed by multi-award-winning documentary and short filmmaker Thomas Marchese, it was written by Marchese and Jessub Flower and stars Anna Camp (TRUE BLOOD), Jennifer Lafleur, John Ales, Travis Hammer and Richie Montgomery. The synopsis: “A young mother [Camp], crushed by guilt after the disappearance of her young son five years previously, is presented with a bizarre offer to learn the truth and set things right. But how far is she willing to go, and is she willing to pay the terrifying price for a chance to hold her boy again?”
