Trailer and poster emerge for “THE HAUNTED,” spooking you next month

The British fright film THE HAUNTED now has a date to scare U.S. viewers, and the trailer and poster have been released. See ’em after the jump.

Written and directed by TV veteran David Holroyd, THE HAUNTED will be released by Vertical Entertainment May 22. It stars Sophie Stevens, Ray MacAllan, Nick Bayly, Maggie Daniels, Kirstie Steele and Virginia Denham; the synopsis: “Arriving at an isolated house for her first night shift, young caregiver Emily [Stevens] is left alone to face a terrifying vengeful spirit in this disturbingly clever, psychological horror.”
