Life frighteningly imitates art for the characters in this supernatural saga.
THE EXORCISM, star Russell Crowe’s second movie on this subject in as many years after THE POPE’S EXORCIST, is coming exclusively to theaters June 7 from Vertical. Scripted by Joshua John Miller and M.A. Fortin (THE FINAL GIRLS) and directed by Miller (son of THE EXORCIST’s Jason Miller), it also stars Ryan Simpkins (FEAR STREET, ANGUISH), Sam Worthington (AVATAR), Chloe Bailey, Adam Goldberg and David Hyde Pierce. The synopsis: “THE EXORCISM follows Anthony Miller [Crowe], a troubled actor who begins to unravel while shooting a supernatural horror film. His estranged daughter [Simpkins] wonders if he’s slipping back into his past addictions or if there’s something more sinister at play.”
