Trailer and poster: “BASKIN” and “HOUSEWIFE” director’s kids’ adventure (!) “GIRL WITH NO MOUTH”

Yes, the filmmaker behind a couple of Europe’s most extreme recent horror movies has made “a grim post-apocalyptic tale for the whole family.”

Indiecan Enterainment is bringing Turkish director Can Evrenol’s GIRL WITH NO MOUTH to North American VOD, Blu-ray and DVD December 8. Scripted by Evrenol and Kutay Ucun, it stars Elif Sevinç, Denizhan Akbaba, Özgür Civelek, Kaan Alpdayi, Sermet Yesil, Mehmet Yilmaz Ak and Özay Fecht. The synopsis: “In GIRL WITH NO MOUTH, a group of children who suffer from deformities due to a toxic explosion embark on an adventure in a wartorn postapocalyptic region.”
