The kaiju news has been unveiled on Godzilla Day.

Today at Godzilla Fest 2025, held at Tokyo’s Kanadevia Hall, it was revealed that Toho’s next film featuring the legendary monster will be titled GODZILLA MINUS ZERO. It will be written and directed by Takashi Yamazaki, who will also oversee the visual effects–following up the worldwide success of his GODZILLA MINUS ONE (pictured above), which became the first Asian movie to win the Best Visual Effects Academy Award and the third-highest-grossing foreign-language film in U.S. history, among many other accolades. No other information on GODZILLA MINUS ZERO’s storyline, release date, etc. has been released, so watch this space for more! Yamazaki himself created the logos seen above and below.
