The new movie by the acclaimed director will frighten us in early summer.

Neon has announced that it will release CUCKOO, writer/director Tilman Singer’s follow-up to the much-lauded LUZ, to theaters May 3. The film, which stars Hunter Schafer (EUPHORIA), Dan Stevens (THE GUEST), Jessica Henwick, Marton Csókás and Jan Bluthardt, has its world premiere this month at the Berlin International Film Festival, followed by its international premiere at the SXSW Film Festival. The synopsis: “On a trip to the German Alps with her father and stepmother, Gretchen [Schafer] discovers that the resort town where they’re staying hides sinister secrets, as she’s plagued by strange noises and frightening visions of a woman pursuing her. Soon, Gretchen finds herself pulled into a conspiracy involving bizarre experiments by the resort’s owner that echo back generations.” We’re really looking forward to this one, so stayed tuned for more!
