“Throwback horror film” “DEAD WHISPER” gets distribution and a date

A couple of genre veterans are part of the ensemble in this summer release.

Vertical has announced its acquisition of North American and UK/Ireland rights to DEAD WHISPER, and will bring it to select theaters July 5. The movie will then be available on Apple TV, Prime Video and other VOD platforms beginning July 9. The feature directorial debut of Conor Soucy, from a script he wrote with Colin Charlesdale, it was shot in Provincetown, Boston and Easton, MA and stars Samuel Dunning, Broadway veteran Rob Evan (LES MISÉRABLES, JEKYLL & HYDE), Tana Sirois and Samantha Hill. The synopsis: “DEAD WHISPER follows Elliot Campbell [Dunning], a Cape Cod lawyer drawn to a mysterious island, where he faces the temptation of reuniting with his dead daughter at the peril of his soul.”
