The “X” saga will continue with “MAXXXINE”; teaser released

Ti West and Mia Goth are reteaming to make it a trilogy.
Following last night’s Toronto International Film Festival North American premiere of PEARL, the X prequel that opens this Friday, it was revealed that the saga will continue with MAXXXINE. Set in 1985, several years after the events of X, “The film follows Maxine [Goth]…as the sole survivor who continues her journey towards fame setting out to make it as an actress in 1980’s Los Angeles.” West will once again write and direct the movie, and also produce it with Jacob Jaffke, Kevin Turen and Harrison Kreiss, with Goth as executive producer, for A24 release.
