Meet the latest in the long legacy of Stephen King-inspired killer kids.
RLJE Films releases the new CHILDREN OF THE CORN in theaters March 3, then on VOD and digital platforms March 21. Said to be a new adaptation of the classic King story as opposed to a remake of the original 1984 film, it was written and directed by Kurt Wimmer (ULTRAVIOLET, SPELL) and stars Elena Kampouris, Kate Moyer, Callan Mulvey, Bruce Spence (THE ROAD WARRIOR), Stephen Hunter, Erika Heynatz, Anna Samson, Sisi Stringer and Andrew S. Gilbert. The synopsis: “Possessed by a spirit in a dying cornfield, a twelve-year-old girl in Nebraska recruits the other children in her small town to go on a bloody rampage and kill all the adults and anyone else who opposes her. A bright high schooler who won’t go along with the plan is the town’s only hope of survival.”
