Having first won notice for the 2013 thriller HIDE AND SEEK, Korean writer/director Huh Jung ventures into the world of frightening folklore with THE MIMIC. It’s now set for U.S. release, and we’ve got the info and art.

Well Go USA brings THE MIMIC to Blu-ray and digital platforms June 12. It stars Yum Jung-Ah (TELL ME SOMETHING), Park Hyuk-Kwon, Shin Rin-Ah, Heo Jin (THE WAILING), Kil Hae-Yeon and Lee Yool. According to the PR, the movie is “based on the mythological ‘Tiger of Mt. Jang,’ where a legendary ghost mimics humans. A woman takes in a lost girl she finds near the mysterious Mt. Jang and mystifying things begin to happen to her frightened family.” Check out the original trailer below the art.
