“THE MENU” teaser trailer promises tasty culinary chills

If you have an appetite for offbeat genre fare, check this one out.

Searchlight Pictures has released the first teaser trailer for THE MENU, which hits theaters November 18. Directed by Mark Mylod, who has numerous notable TV credits including SHAMELESS, ONCE UPON A TIME and GAME OF THRONES, from a screenplay by Seth Reiss and Will Tracy, it stars Anya Taylor-Joy, Nicholas Hoult, Ralph Fiennes, John Leguizamo, Judith Light, Hong Chau, Janet McTeer and Reed Birney. The synopsis: “A couple [Taylor-Joy and Hoult] travels to a coastal island to eat at an exclusive restaurant where the chef [Fiennes] has prepared a lavish menu, with some shocking surprises.” You’ll get a hint of those surprises in the teaser, and we can’t wait to see more!
