The giant ape smashes again in “KONGA TNT”; first teaser and poster

The big gorilla from the 1961 cult favorite has been revived for the 21st century.

The first teaser trailer for KONGA TNT has been released and can be seen below. Brett Kelly (MY FAIR ZOMBIE, ATTACK OF THE JURASSIC SHARK) directed the movie from a script by Trevor Payer, based on Kelly’s story and the Charlton Comics adaptation of the previous movie (since that’s in the public domain). Jennie Russo, Chad Walls, Ian Quick, Seb Godin, Steve Kasan, John Migliore, Payer and Tomb Dragomir star. According to the project’s Facebook page, “KONGA TNT is an experimental movie project being made while in isolation due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Director Brett Kelly is taking unused footage from previous movies and combining it with new footage shot by himself and actor/FX artist John Migliore along with writer Trevor Payer. Additional actors will be contributing scenes shot on their own.”
