Sony Pictures has released the trailer and a few pics from DON’T BREATHE 2, coming exclusively to theaters under the Screen Gems banner August 13. Rodo Sayagues, who scripted the original with its director Fede Alvarez, helmed the sequel from a screenplay by the duo, and the pair also produced with Raimi and Robert Tapert. Stephen Lang returns as the sightless antagonist, joined by Brendan Sexton III, Madelyn Grace and Adam Young. The synopsis: “The sequel is set in the years following the initial deadly home invasion, where Norman Nordstrom [Lang] lives in quiet solace until his past sins catch up to him.” Alvarez gives us a few words on DON’T BREATHE 2 here.
