Filmmaker Ted Geoghegan and RUE MORGUE’s Michael Gingold have come up with two rounds of questions to challenge your genre IQ, with prizes from Shudder and La-La Land Records for the winners!
Each contest consists of 60 multiple-choice questions on fright fare from throughout film history. Tonight’s event, which begins at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT, is sponsored by the Shudder streaming service, which will award a free half-year subscription or extension to the top scorer, as part of its “Halfway to Halloween Month” celebration. Tomorrow (Friday) night, also at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT, La-La Land has horror-sequel CD soundtracks for the top three winners: First prize is FRIDAY THE 13TH PART VI: JASON LIVES, CHILD’S PLAY 2 and PET SEMATARY TWO, second prize is FRIDAY PART VI and CHILD’S PLAY 2, and third prize is FRIDAY PART VI.
