All three Terrifier films are heading back to theatres for Halloween, with Dead by Daylight attached as the event’s presenting sponsor across three consecutive nights of screenings.
Terrifier screens October 29, Terrifier 2 follows October 30, and Terrifier 3 closes out the run on Halloween night itself, October 31. Exact participating locations and wider ticketing details were not spelled out in the initial reports, and Rue Morgue could not confirm whether the screenings are running nationwide or only in select markets.
Dead by Daylight has already confirmed that Art the Clown, the mute, grinning killer played by David Howard Thornton across all three films, is joining the survival horror game in November as a licensed chapter, with a public test build reportedly beginning October 27.
The Terrifier franchise has carved an unlikely path from microbudget slasher to multiplex mainstay through sheer force of word of mouth and splatter. Writer and director Damien Leone is already at work on a fourth instalment with Thornton attached, reportedly aimed at a New Year’s Eve release, though no date has been locked in.
For now, horror fans get three nights to revisit Art the Clown’s escalating body count on the big screen before he starts stalking once again.
